How much would it cost to ensure that a hungry child is fed, not only today, but for the years to come?
What about the cost of feeding not only the child, but his family?
What about not only feeding a family, but also providing the family with a source of income?
What about not only providing for a child and his family, but transforming the child's entire village? How much would something like that cost?
There are many organizations that are changing many lives simply buy allowing wealthier Americans, like us, to purchase a goat for families in places like Uganda.

What can a mere goat do? When a family in Uganda has a goat, it changes their entire future and even affects the families around them.

A gift of one goat can nourish a hungry child and their family with healthy milk, cheese, and yogurt. Goats also give a much-needed income boost by providing offspring and extra dairy products for sale at the market.
Goat milk is an excellent source of calcium, protein and essential nutrients that growing children need.
A family who has a goat will be able to get up to 16 cups of milk per day, in which they can use to make yogurt, butter and cheese.
A family that has a goat can also:
Earn an income by breeding goats and selling some of the younger goats to other families.
Earn an income from selling extra milk, cheese, yogurt and butter at the market.
Be able to fertilize crops and vegetalbe gardens with goat manure.
Have a hopeful and bright future.
